14. Indonesian Data Protection Law Compliance

This Privacy Policy complies with Indonesian laws and regulations, including:

  • UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (PDP Law): We adhere to data protection principles including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, and confidentiality as mandated by the PDP Law.
  • Rights under PDP Law: You have the right to access, correct, complete, update, delete, and withdraw consent for your personal data processing in accordance with Article 5 and Article 6 of the PDP Law.
  • Consent Mechanism: We obtain explicit consent before collecting, processing, or sharing your personal data as required by Article 20 of the PDP Law.
  • Data Controller: UNNIS acts as the Data Controller (Pengendali Data Pribadi) responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection obligations.
  • Data Processor: Any third-party service providers act as Data Processors (Pemroses Data Pribadi) and are contractually bound to comply with PDP Law requirements.
  • Cross-Border Data Transfer: When transferring data outside Indonesia, we ensure adequate protection through mechanisms approved under the PDP Law and regulations issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
  • Data Breach Notification: In case of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and report to relevant authorities as required by Article 62 of the PDP Law.
  • UU ITE Compliance: We secure electronic data and communications in compliance with UU No. 19 Tahun 2016 about Information and Electronic Transactions.
